Mrs. Newbanks' 5th Grade ELA/SS

Hello: My name is Mrs. Newbanks. I am so excited to be teaching your child Language Arts and Social Studies. This is my 32nd year teaching. I have taught Pre-school, Kindergartern, First and Fifth grades. Fifth is by far the best and I hope it will be for your child as well. I have been married to my high school sweetheart for 32 years. We reside in SW Ranches and have two children. Curtis, our oldest is an Assistant Golf Pro at Royal Palm Yacht and Golf Club in Boca Raton and our daughter, Callie, is Special Teams Coordinator for the Miami Dolphins. We also have a third "child" our 70 pound golden doodle London. I am thrilled to be at Franklin Academy!
